Fishponds is a small municipal park in Surbiton - a haven for people, plants and animals alike, with two ponds, woodland spaces, a community orchard and garden, and an area of rich grassland managed as a meadow.
The park was originally within the grounds of a mid-18th century estate, The Fishponds. Now the park is managed by Kingston Council, supported by us - the active Friends of Fishponds group! We run regular friendly Action Days for volunteers to undertake maintenance, planting and litter picking in the park. Everyone is welcome to take part -follow us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram (see bottom of page) or check out the events page on here to stay up to date with our events and activities.
